Cannon Sports is the leading direct marketer of sporting goods
equipment in the United States. In an effort to provide you with
greater confidence in your purchase, and to inform you of our
requirements, we proudly present the terms and conditions listed below.
This is by no means an exhaustive list but it used to illustrate a
majority of concerns for our customers. We invite you to read it
and understand what Cannon Sports Inc. website can and cannot cover
when purchasing items listed in the Cannon Sports website or our
catalog.

Prices & Misprints-prices listed in the Cannon Sports website and/or our catalog intended as a guide only. We make every effort to provide you with error-free website and catalog, in the event that there is misprint, we reserve the right to correct the copy of pricing to reflect actual current status. We are not responsible for typographical or pictorial errors. Pictures are for illustration purposes only and may not be exact since manufacturers often make minor adjustments to products throughout the season. Prices are subject to change without notice, prior to the expiration of the catalog.
Cannon Sports will not be responsible for any consequential or
incidental damages resulting from the sale, non-delivery, use or
improper function of any equipment purchased from it. The
responsibility, if any is imposed, of Cannon Sports in regard to any
item purchased shall be limited to the monetary value of the
merchandise purchased.
Cannon Sports makes no warranty, either expressed or implied, of
merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose, and none shall
be implied by law. Final determination of suitability of the
purchaser, and seller shall have no responsibility in connection with
such determination.

What We Offer
Cannon sells brand name and private label sporting goods. We
mainly focus on team sports, but will continue to expand our product
lines as long as we can offer the lowest prices possible.

GUARANTEE
All merchandise is first line, top quality, factory fresh. No
seconds are sold unless specifically stated. Some other catalogs sell
seconds without telling you. We guarantee 100% free of defects in
workmanship, and further guarantee a desired level of utility from
every item. Now you can purchase knowing that you must be satisfied
with the product. You may call our customer service department
for immediate replacement if there should be a problem. The
exception to this guarantee is Wilson Brand Products. They have a
different philosophy, but we will fight for you when you are not
satisfied. Abuse voids guarantee. We do not extend manufacturer written
warranties. Please read manufacturer warranty before using product. We
will accept return of unused, salable product if not satisfied with
warranty.
HOW TO WRITE AN ORDER
To enable us to process your orders promptly and correctly, please use
the following format when writing an order;

PRICES
We make every effort to maintain the prices in our catalog. Should our
manufacturers raise their price beyond our ability to absorb, we will
immediately contact you. Call us whenever you find a better price from
someone else. Give us the chance to beat that price. You'll be happy
you did.
TERMS AND WHO MAY PURCHASE
Everyone may use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or IMPAC
[government credit card] or a check with order for an Internet or
Catalog order. We honor signed purchase orders from any accredited or
publicly funded institution, government or student body fund. Other
Purchase Orders require our credit approval for terms. NET 30 day
billing after approval. This applies to partial shipments as well as
completed orders. We bill after the product ships. GSA contract
GS-07F-5864P.
DELIVERY [Next day air, 2nd
day air, and other services available.]
We maintain an in-stock merchandise level of over 1.5 million dollars
in popular items to give you terrific service. For in-stock items, we
normally ship the next business day. You will receive an e-mail
confirmation with tracking number when your order ships. We ship all
merchandise in less than 30 days. You will receive written confirmation
that will tell you the date you will receive your merchandise if it is
impossible for us to ship within 30 days because of manufacturer
delays. Telephone
for rush orders. Our sales staff can quote you exact ship dates
when you place a phone order. Our customers tell us that we give the
best service in the sporting goods industry. Sorry, we cannot air
freight “hazardous materials” [i.e. aerosol cans, air horn CO2 cans].
SHIPPING, HANDLING & FUEL SURCHARGE
There is no minimum order, but processing is costly. Please add $9.50
if the order is less than $95.00. Regardless of where in the contiguous 48 states your shipment is destined or how much it weighs, shipping and handling costs are only $9.50 if the order is less than $95.00, unless you require inside delivery or residential truck delivery, which may or may not cost extra. And if your order is over $1,500 it is shipped freight free. Most of our
competitors charge extra for truck shipments. For shipments to Alaska,
Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, and all other off shore
locations, call, fax or e-mail for freight prices.
RETURN CHECK CHARGE: Note: $30.00 service charge for
returned checks.
DAMAGE CLAIMS
Before signing a receiving bill of lading, examine cartons for
damage. If damaged, note damage on the receiving form before you
sign so we will be able to file a freight claim for you. When you find
concealed damage you must call the freight carrier within five days so
they can examine the package. This is the only way to be sure the
carriers will accept the claim. Once you sign for merchandise,
you are responsible for its condition or loss.
SUBSTITUTIONS
We reserve the right to substitute an equal or better item at no
additional charge when our suppliers update their products or are not
able to meet your delivery deadline. Cannon and their suppliers
reserve the right to make changes and improvements in designs,
materials and warranties, without formal notice. Should this not
be acceptable just state so on your order and we will inform you of the
situation.
SHORTAGES
All merchandise is double counted and weighed to verify contents before
it is shipped, so please double check before contacting us. We
have found that this double checking has done the trick, and saved
paperwork, phone expense, and shipper tracers for both of us in most
cases. When you are short we will rectify the order. Discrepancies must be reported to us in writing within 5 days to be valid. Please call immediately
and follow with a letter, fax or e-mail. 818-303-2001 extension
258. Proof of delivery must be requested in writing within 60
days of date of invoice. Thank You.
RETURNS
We get very few returns, and in order to operate efficiently CANNON SPORTS has a firm return policy. Please cooperate for our mutual
benefit. We only accept merchandise with a return authorization number from
us. When an error is ours, we will arrange a pick-up and we will
pay return freight charges as well as the freight to you for
replacement. In all fairness, if the error was yours, we ask you to
return the merchandise in saleable
condition and to pay all the freight bills and incur a 20% restocking fee. This is the same
standard we live under with our manufacturers. Food items may not
be returned.
