The Wilson F1001B has an exclusive Wilson Professional pattern made of top quality Wilson 899 WE leather that is tanned-in and tacked at the same time; it also has deeper pebbled leather and a firmer texture. The football uses Wilson's patented 3-ply bladder providing unmatched air retention. This football offers the Wilson exclusive white grip stripes that provide improved grip over traditional painted stripes. This football is even more enhanced with its ACL laces that provide for Accurate Control Lacing, made of pebbled composite leather, providing for 174% more grip than traditional laces. This football is an official football of the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). The Wilson F1001B also meets all of the specifications of the NFHS.
